TL;DR: I'm attempting a 24hour stream today starting at 1:00pm PST for the #WorldOfWarcraft #Shadowlands launch, and I would love it if anyone wants to hang out with me as I get back into streaming.

I've avoided being completely open about my own #Mentalhealth because I don't like the idea of trying to use it or wield it for pity or attention.

That being said, I've learned to appreciate the value of sharing, and destigmatizing mental health discussion.

So why now?
For many of us, gaming has been an invaluable escape during difficult times, whether it be during a pandemic, dealing with personal mental health, or just other general adversity.

I've been dealing with severe #depression for 14 years. I'm 26, so since I was 12.
#WorldOfWarcraft has been my main escape most of that time, especially throughout my teen years. Dealing with an unhinged abusive narcissistic mother, among other things, didn't really matter so much when I could just be myself in WoW.
About 2 years ago, when the last WoW expansion came out, I had been consistent in working on my stream while trying to balance work.

Then, I tried to go back to school, and got so overwhelmed that I gave up on gaming entirely for a while.

I still didn't do well with school, lol
The past 2 years I've been sort of bogged down under my own #depression and #anxiety and never really got back into streaming as much as I used to.

My excitement for #Shadowlands felt like a good time to jump in head first and share that excitement again.
I'll be joined by my good friends @Magic_Ranger_ and @wisepolishman for a good part of the journey today, though I don't expect them to stay up with me all night lol

We don't just silently play the game though, we really love the #WorldOfWarcraft universe and its stories:
I'll leave this off with a couple of examples of what you might expect to see from us today

Whether you read part of this thread, all of it, shared it or tune in later, regardless, thank you for hearing me out.

It feels good to open up, and it feels good to be back.
@wisepolishman Asked me about some more context for a character who's story you don't really see in the game, so I did the best I could to catch him up https://www.twitch.tv/videos/812559183
Who doesn't love a good cutscene reaction? (with guest appearances from @rhenpup's cough and some @Kyyyrrr laughter) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/812551935
