This is my experience watching Shane's videos when I was younger.

I remember his racist videos that included stereotypes, blackface, and very disturbing jokes about everyone except white people. This really normalized racism for me, and when I heard a racist joke it didn't seem wrong to me. I even made a racist joke without realizing it.

The racism, pedophilia, and many other things normalized so much disgusting things for me. I remember watching him and when my mom came in the room I shut my tablet off so she wouldn't see.

The purpose of this thread is not for shane dawson to get more hate but to shine a light on his nasty content and the effects on children watching them.

I hope he gets professional help and I hope he puts out a real apology where he is genuinely sorry.
