1. I wonder what the avowed critics of the FGN economic policies really want? In fact my view is that they are really bereft of basic economic knowledge. How do I know this? They say the same inane things for every single situation. They want deregulation but when it hits them/
2. they oppose it. They shout to FGN, where is your Economic Team, since 2019, FGN has the Economic Team advising that they all recommended, but suddenly, FGN is still not right in its economic policies? Again I say, what do these busybody critics want? Are the Economic Advisers/
3. suddenly incompetent? So I decided to delve into the background of some of this professional critics and this is what I found:
(a) Aboubacre Kojoli El-Camerouni-this one has no qualification worth mentioning at all. His best for life is a Diploma in Law that will have made him
4. a law clerk. Before his foray into Diploma in law, he qualified as a sanitation officer (wole wole). The man is a non-starter and OBJ should apologise for making him his VP. Apart from his misadventure into governance, his businesses have been propped up all along by our money
5. Kojoli is sacking staff left, right and centre. Listen to him or his twitter handler at your peril, both owner of handle and handler are unworthy of anyone's interest.
(b) Madam Oby is no Economist. She is an Accountant and while one may say she should have some knowledge, /
6. Let us be clear, Accountants study the trail of money-money in-money out. They are not economists. So, take Oby's economic advise at your own peril.
(c) The third critic is my aburo Moghalu and again his background is first in Law like mine. Then he read something called:/
7. Political Economy at postgraduate level. Now, even this in my view does not equip him with the same knowledge as straight up economics. Political economy is the study of production & trade and their relations with law, custom and government. Yes, it has economy in its 'mention
8. but it is more of a romantic philosophy. I will leave Dr Moghalu to even explain what it means. So what do these critics have in economic knowledge that beats the Presidents' Economic Advisory Council (EAC) made up of/
9. Prof. Doyin Salami – Chairman
Dr Mohammed Sagagi – Vice-Chairman
Prof. Ode Ojowu – Member
Dr Shehu Yahaya – Member
Dr Iyabo Masha – Member
Prof. Chukwuma Soludo – Member
Mr Bismark Rewane – Member
10. This is why I just think there is more to the criticism of PMB than meets the eyes. Yorubas will ask whether this is not "afise" Kilode. E ja owo ninu apon ti o yo, ke gbe omi ila kana. 2023 beckons & morning shows the day for anyone who wants to be President. We are waiting/
@MoghaluKingsley my brother, I do apologise for this, but quite frankly your latest dig at the President for a recession that was inevitable and which is not a depression even is something I just don't understand.
