In our latest paper on the Micronesian Scrubfowl we explore how breeding and feeding habitat choices may render it vulnerable to sea level rise. With this paper we honour Milang Eberdong and the late Dr Alan Olsen who supported, encouraged and inspired us. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/btp.12885
Milang and Alan gave me a love for Palau, generously shared of their knowledge and welcomed me to their community. Pictured here was a common currency in Palau - a delicious box of donuts for morning tea!
The Belau National Museum supported my visit as a research associate and gave generously of their resources and facilities. @ruffordgrants kindly supported our work as well as the Palau Conservation Society, Koror State Government, Ron Liedich and so many more.
The point of this thread is that work like this is always a team effort and relies on the generosity of many. What we see published at the end is just the tip of the iceberg.
