Just spoke to a “leading actor” friend. He has 2 major projects coming up on Netflix, etc.

I called him regarding an upcoming event for ‘Justice 4 SSR’ in his hometown.

I wanted to enquire about necessary permission procedure & all, since he’s from that city. (1/4)

At first he was all fine, but I could sense tension in his voice. When he had no money or home in Bombay, I helped him & guided him.

This is what he said, “You know Eray, I can’t support it, I’ve to work in this industry. Sorry don’t ever call me again please.” (2/4)

This is not the first time I’ve got such response. Previously when Arnab was in Taloja, I called up few friends from industry too to see if they can send somebody outside the Jail.

Nobody picked up the call (which is rare), & all of them went ahead & blocked me too. (3/4)

This is the harsh reality.

I don’t care about them, because till date, be it ideas, or whatever, this industry has only taken from me. In the end, “it” also attempted to take my life.
