What to include in pre-seed/seed deck (in a đŸ„œshell):
Title (+one liner)
Customer problem / opp.
Solution (value prop.)
How it works (screenshots / demo link)
Market size ($)
Competition (+ your differentiation)
GTM
Financials*
Exit options**
Team
Traction, ask, use of funds***
*Financials should be 3 to 5 years of projections shown in a simple graph. VCs need to see $25M+ of revenues within 3 to 5 years to find the option compelling. Do *not* be conservative here.
**Exit options should include what you think are the MOST LIKELY outcomes - often times will be strategic buyers. Early stage VCs know that this is not set in stone; they just want to see how you are thinking. List relevant comps when you have them. @Pitchbook data is helpful.
***Traction is critical to show (reinforce revenues, purchase orders, partnerships secured, users on waitlists, etc.) The ask should be specific in terms of $s you are raising, valuation (or a realistic range if not set), and how you plan to use the funds (typically dev + GTM)
