part of me is tempted to do a thread about the intersections between law and astrology-- particular as to how astrology responds and treats law-related things.

The trouble may be, that any lawyers who encounter this would not understand the astrology & vice versa
Astrology always reflects the society in which it is practised, and law is no exception; for example, in 16thc. treatises you instructions as to to find stolen property using astrology, and even identify the thief.
(*17th c)

This practise was of course, highly dodgy. leading astrologer William Lilly going so far as to call discovering lost objects the "only shame of astrology"

This did not stop him from writing an extensive section of it in his textbook, Christian astrology lol.
In any case, Lilly himself was tried for doing precisely that, but he managed to get acquitted.

Ambiguous terms in the old books still cause trouble; as for example this thread regarding how tenants [and tenancies] should be classified astrologically https://twitter.com/charm_astrology/status/1162895661731368960
For a related public law matter, see for this thread on confusion as how to assign the Senate and congress; which rapidly devolved into a discussion of 17thc, english politics https://twitter.com/marenaltman/status/1324747146009186306
