like how it's only ever trade union general secretaries - who go through a democratic process - that get called barons, never like some CEO. used to get oil barons I suppose but now it's just union barons.

nationalist in a UK context I find interesting. scottish/welsh separatism is nationalist, ergo reactionary, while unionism is neutral and not nationalism. see also the EU.
