akin to the "nobody has canon sexualities" discourse point people on drinsta use, drinsta starts saying that none of the characters are canonically japanese, either, and that it's okay to hc them as white

dr4 is announced. there is a character who is a terrorist and is associated with a lot of islamic imagery. only muslim fans notice and get called snowflakes for pointing it out.

drtwt evolves with many old fans leaving and many new ones coming in. the new ones lose sight of what lgbt coding is, and start thinking any character who has any sign that could be reinterpreted as being trans is trans coding. celeste is trans coded now
