not that i didn't love the original bakuten's music, but wow it all just...feels more shinsengumi this time. like they really went for the aesthetic and the tone matches so well this time

kensuke's grown into his role super well too like i suppose he's had the time to bc we haven't seen him in a story musical since the original bakuten but also w o w

wahhhh so far the story portion was really good... they really took the production up a notch which was to be expected but still took me by surprise

i think there were some parts i preferred in the original but most of them were in softer moments or in places that were obvs changed bc of current restrictions and I'm cool w that. now I cannot WAIT to see what upgrades the idol section shall getttt

curtain call ;-; ahhhh bakuten rerun....is really good. for all the challenges there have been it's really good and worth watching and may be one of my absolute favourites, probably only second to kishou bc I'm incredibly biased towards kishou but like yeah. it's really good ;-;
