A bit of a mini-thread:

I don't think it helps wrestlers to have a "character's" account be the same as the "actor's" account, but I also think fans need to either do a better job separating the two or realize that one thing they dislike doesn't also involve the other. https://twitter.com/LanaWWE/status/1330606276649361418
Some of my favorite wrestlers ever have done stuff I've despised, and I may voice that, but that doesn't mean that I dislike the person playing the part, or think the person isn't extremely talented. Or I can think the "character/angle" sucks but think the person is great.
But I also doubt fans ever try to put effort to nuance that.

I wonder how many people out there that @ "Lana" and say "You suck!" either mean "this character sucks, but CJ, you're great", or mean "you're an awful person," or mean "this Lana ANGLE sucks."
I never @ any wrestler with negativity because nobody really needs to read that, and even if I'd be trying to be constructive, I can't guarantee it'd read that way. I'm also only hearing about "Lana's" stuff; it's not of interest of me to watch.

Regardless, God bless you, CJ.
And pretty much the same goes to any wrestler: Regardless of if I like or dislike your work as a wrestling "character," Godspeed to who you are when you're not on camera, unless you give me a personal, "real" reason to think otherwise.

A "wrestling story" won't be that, though.
