The Sidney Powell announcement is significant but not for the reasons you may think.

1. When Sidney clarifies that she is working independently rather than the Trump legal team, it signals they believe she can do more independently.

Sidney has repeatedly said that she believes Dominion has stolen this election. If Sidney was on the Trump legal team, Dominion could sue the campaign for defamation. Now, they could only sue Sidney for her claims.

2. The Trump campaign and legal team can only go so far in contesting the results of the election. It only makes sense for them to have an independent lawyer filing lawsuits as well.

3. This would also debunk a conflict of interest claim if Sidney is filing lawsuits on her own, and not as the Presidents lawyer

To add on point 3, the significance of Sidney filing lawsuits on her own should not be understated. If it were the president filing, they would say he was going after his opponent. Done independently, they hold no weight in that argument.

Lastly, I believe the lines have been blurred here. Sidney NEVER was representing the President, or was apart of his legal team. I think the press conference caused confusion as to where she stood in that aspect. That is what the announcement was for I believe.

I lied, a couple more things. There is NO telling how deep this fraud and corruption goes. What if it has infested the walls of all our government agencies? CIA? FBI? Trump is already called a dictator, imagine if he started firing all these corrupt people.

It is actually imperative that a private citizen (Sidney) would be the one to file suit against the government or its agencies on the behalf of WE the people. How can the trump campaign file a lawsuit against the FBI if technically President Trump has some control over the FBI?
