Reasons I've considered and why they don't make sense:
"I love and miss my family!" - then you wanna see them more than once and don't wanna kill them
"Family pressure!" - if you love them, see above. if you don't, why go?
"Owning the libs" - oh, sweetheart, is that worth it?

If "owning the libs" is legit on your list of motivations, I have terrible news. Watching you self-destruct will evoke no emotion other than vague pity from the small handful of people who notice and the smaller subset who care. There's more important stuff happening. Sorry. -R
