My dad is 67 next month. He is a lazy slob who hasn't done a days work in 25 years. He hasn't bothered to make contact with his own grandkids for over a year. Saw him at my nan's today and his first words were "we need to social distance". I called him a twat before taking leave.

I only mention this pathetic anecdote because it highlights an issue I keep seeing. People with no skin in the game, with sad lives, begging for measures which will drag everyone down to their level and make them feel morally superior despite the obvious.
