you give a traumatized person the ability to assume a position in the ranks based on the “science” you’ve placed in their DNA & the cognitive dissonance settles in faster than the actual change in community.

people were really out here calling themselves the new negro or caucasian coined term mulatto all the while having the same LACK of rights as their Black brothers.

they thought of themselves as better bc they had a seat at a table meant to distract the community.
