how i lost 7 kgs in a month without purging, without starving too much and how i dealt w plateau afterwards —— a thread
for reference— this was me at 60 kgs and then me at 53 kgs in the same skirt. as you can see it used to be very tight on me.
disclaimer !! if you finish this thread and u haven’t learned anything new, then i’m sorry, but i am just sharing the best combination of habits that worked for me, and i am not any sort of professional. so, if you do all of these together, i’m rly sure you will lose quite a lot+
but i cant guarantee anything since each body is very different. ALSO !! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ please do leave questions below since i’m really bad at explaining things
—— DIET
1. id eat 1 meal a day in schooldays. i would fake having breakfast, since i’d wake up earlier, and go to school without bringing the usual snack for breaks. that would make almost 10 hours of fast for me. when coming back, having lunch was unavoidable, so i’d eat very slowly +
and in rly small proportions. it’s very hard to stop eating, and this is v obvious but pls pls never forget to drink loads of water before any meal. you need to trick yourself into thinking you’re full, otherwise it will be really hard to stop.
so, my mom lets me skip dinner bc we don’t really believe dinner is very necessary? and if they insist, then i lie and say i have had a really abundant snack throughout the afternoon. so, if your parents don’t let you skip dinner, do this lol
if i went out with friends, i would always say i had eaten too much at home. also, i found myself in situations where my mom would make sure i brought snacks to school, so i’d just give them to my friends w the excuse of a huge breakfast.
never bring money w you, don’t trust yourself when going out. avoid food as much as possible. if you’re hungry eat some pieces of fruit, or low cal snacks, and if you ever overeat, don’t stress !!! just go out for a walk and burn it, or dance or whatever.
2. when you lie abt eating, i recommend keeping some fake evidence. sometimes i keep empty yoghurt cups or idk food wrappers and such. if you keep something like banana peel or any fruit peel, obviously it won’t last so like use it as soon as possible.
when you’re having a meal, if you can’t have it by yourself, and you’re being forced to eat in your own plate so they make sure you have eaten, then pretend like you eat (i am sure you know how to do it), and when no one is looking, put portions of your food in other plates+
sometimes i’d “eat” by myself in the kitchen and just pour it all back in wherever it was cooked. idk, just adapt it to your family’s habits !!
3. i used to be a ballet dancer, i was for 5 years. as soon as i dropped it bc of health reasons, i stopped being very skinny and gained drastically because i wouldnt take care of food. so pls completely cut on sweets, junk food, and all that.
i got used to this very quickly, so i started craving healthy stuff more often, like salads and fruits. so i rly recommend dropping all sorts of junk food. even if u think just a little won’t harm u, pls get used to not eating them. u will have time for that when u lose !!
—— EXERCISE
1. as i said before, when overeating, make sure you burn most of it.
when i would have that one meal a day, maybe i’d go for a walk afterwards, or just clean up my room and very mild stuff. i’m not very much of a sportive person whatsoever so i’d only do intensive exercise +
once a week, in p.e. class, which lasted two hours. those p.e. days i would have some light breakfast because otherwise i’d collapse (trust me i know), so if you’re planning to do some intensive workouts or something pls do eat !!
2. i really recommend emi wong’s yt channel to workout. she has many calorie burning workouts w known songs (also lots of kpop songs). i like this workout for legs specifically bc it works and it’s easy and it only takes you 10 minutes !!
but i mostly recommend her dance workouts to burn calories
—— PLATEAU
many people get rly scared of making their calorie intake higher when plateau hits them, but it really does work. i personally went through a period of time where i couldn’t stop maintaining my 53 kgs. i ate more for like 2 days & boom 51 kgs (proof if u need it 😭:$(&)
