Biden hasn't even named his cabinet yet and people are already claiming climate action is going to sink Democrats. But the results tell us the exact opposite story.
The most obvious, President-elect Biden won the most votes ever with the strongest climate plan ever and made bold climate action his closing argument.
Mark Kelly and John Hickenlooper ran on bold climate action and made it a huge part of their attack ads.
How about Governors races?

Jay Inslee ran an entire presidential campaign focused on climate and returned to Washington state to win with his biggest margin ever.
In 2016 Roy Cooper won North Carolina by 0.2%. He championed clean energy throughout his first term and vocally opposed offshore oil drillin, and coal ash ponds polluting his state. He won reelection by 4.5%
In Nevada a state Biden won with 50.1%, Questions 6, ballot measure to increase states clean energy standard won 57.9%.
How about the state level?

In Washington, New Mexico, Colorado, Maine, Connecticut, and New York where state legislatures have all passed major climate legislation in the last year. Not only was there no push back but they expanded their majorities.
In a state Trump won with over 58%, Nebraskans elected a pro-clean energy majority to their state utility commission. Yesterday Lincoln, NE voted for 100% zero carbon electricity by 2040 goal.
How about cities?

Biden won Columbus, OH with 64% voters, but voters approved Question 2 which would provide the city with 100% clean energy by 76%
Candidates that embraced bold action won with bigger margins, it was one of the strongest contrasts between candidates, and many underperformed direct votes on the climate and clean energy.
Results very clearly show in red and blue states, up and down the ticket, if you want to win, clean energy and climate should be at center of your campaign.
