I kinda just can't anymore with the CR conversation, like... it's clear lotta people want it to be something that it's not.
Is it that hard for you all to call radio xenophobic, or is it more important to you to make up conspiracy theories about every that surrounds BTS?
Whatever... this is my last stance pitch and then I'm over it.

Let's review what we know:

A.
Promoting to radio does not guarantee airplay. Going back as far as Spring Day which sent to radio, and never played. We don't know what happened behind the scenes with any song.
The only way you can guarantee a song will be played on radio is if you can pay someone who you can also guarantee not gonna dupe you. That's illegal payola. Something the guys have repeatedly stood against.
B.
Years ago, bout 2017-18, a discussion with s0ny was had and eventually circulated through the fandom. Two important point were made:

1) BTS is actually (to their surprise) involved in the promotional decision making. We can obviously deduce from this that they don't
micromanage at every level, but they are involved at least on a high level. It's their reputation on the line, and they want the power to decide who and what they sell their souls too. My suspicion, they took back this control after the debacle with ashy zits - and man who signed
them up for every promo activity he could (without their consent) which ran them dry and we suspect soured their relationship with 👁♥️ because they couldn't fulfill the obligations he had committed them to becuz they were ran empty and contemplating disbandment. He was fired.
Which brings us to the 2and point revealed....

2) They didn't want it. Whatever s0ny/CR was pitching - they did not want it. They wanted to do their own thing. Which brings us to point C.

C.
BTS is not a CR artist. They have a distribution contract only. Which means, any
subsequent activities, such as promotion are on a case-by-case basis. They do not breathe without permission. If they weren't doing their job, that would be a breach of contract and they would be sued by BH.

I don't know how or why BTS/BH/CR change their radio strategy from
song to song, and neither do you.

What I do know is:
1) radio is xenophobic and publicly has say they won't play BTS song because of language.
2) as fans, our job is not deciding on behalf of BTS or their team what they commit to. Our job is to stream, shazam, request.
Also... this whole "ON was blacklisted" thing, like... no, it wasn't played, but what proof do you have that it was blacklisted?
