#LarimerCounty, here’s the deal... if we continue on at the rate of growth we are currently seeing, we are going to start seeing daily cases numbers in the THOUSANDS within a month!!!

Just look at the last 30 days...

2/ For the first week we were averaging 51.7 cases per day. We had a total of 362 cases.

For the last 7 days, we have had 1,712 cases! That’s an average of 244.6 cases per day.

Our overall increase in cases in the last month has been 473%!!!

3/ At that same growth rate, in another 30 days, we’ll be hitting an average of 1,157 CASES PER DAY!!!!!

If you are at all considering getting together with folks outside of your household for the #Thanksgiving holiday, I beg of you, please reconsider!

4/ Even the @CDCgov is asking that we don’t mix households, and especially don’t travel to do so!!! We are already seeing case numbers grow exponentially. We are already seeing hospitals with 25-35% staff shortages.

5/ What will happen when we have too many sick people and not enough medical staff to take care of them? Or maybe you?

We ALL have to do this, together. Stay home whenever possible. Buy #KN95 masks and wear them when you go out. Cloth masks are simply not enough.

6/ And keep your distance from folks! That “within 6 feet for 15 minutes” is culmulative! You don’t have to be talking to someone for 15 minutes straight to risk infection.

We are already on a horrifying projectory with this. Let’s please do all we can to slow this down. Now.
