#DVRG - DeepVerge Plc @gjbrandon

A thread as to why I believe it is one of the best opportunities on AIM over a 1-5 year time horizon.

£35m mcap with potentially revolutionary technology across all divisions in which they operate.

An undiscovered ‘ESG’ investment.

1/20
Upon the acquisition of #MWG, #DVRG consist of 4 divisions (wholly owned subsidiaries)
1. Modern Water #MWG (patented water monitoring technology)
2. Labskin (Lab grown human skin)
3. Rinocloud (AI spin out from Cambridge Uni)
4. Cellulac (bio-based chemicals)

2/20
We have witnessed immense performance from ESG stocks this year on AIM. For me, there are two vast industries that have been overlooked by investors, and are critical to sustainability.

#DVRG are involved in both.

Water management and the elimination of animal testing.

3/20
Water Management - unbeknown to most, water is a scarce resource, and only becoming more scarce with population growth and global warming.

Animal Testing - currently an $11bn market - I think that says enough.

4/20
Combining all 4 subsidiaries, the EcowaterOS consortia was formed. It is LIVE water monitoring tech - it uses AI to be predictive (like the weather forecast). The consortia can monitor waste stream compositions, contaminants and pathogens of choice all in real-time.

5/20
Strangely, water monitoring has always been done by sampling, which in an era of advanced technology and data seems archaic. If there was a deadly water-borne pathogen in a river, one would only know 3-5 days later once the regular sampling was analysed by a lab.

6/20
Now owners of the water monitoring IP, #DVRG have full access to it and can tailor whatever ‘EcowaterOS solution’ is needed for a client. They have begun shipment to the Great Lakes in the USA of a plethora of technology which will be AI enabled.

7/20
Coincidentally, #DeepVerge have been monitoring pathogens for years. Last year they proved the Real-time detection and monitoring of E-Coli with an accuracy of 99.3% in 3.37 seconds.

If only there was someone with the technology to detect to do this for #COVID19

8/20
From this, it is clear why #DVRG became involved in the race to monitor #COVID19 in real-time. I’d probably go as far to say that they are the most suited company I know of to do so…

The #MicrotoxPD and #MicrotoxBT have been developed, and are in final testing stages.

9/20
A vaccine won’t be a silver bullet, monitoring/testing will be needed for years to come. There will also be investment into technology such as #DVRG’s, adaptable to any pathogen, that can be altered to help limit the next pandemic/disease outbreak. No-one wants a round 2.

10/20
Now, the beauty of the #DVRG technology, is that is is compatible for multiple viruses/diseases beyond #Covid19. Breath samples can detect up to 40 medical conditions including cancers and dementia. Its not hard to comprehend the value to detect these in under 10 seconds.

11/20
Revenues - the cruise ship market for #DVRG is worth potentially up to £2.6bn. A webinar will go through this in more detail on Dec 1st. Safe to say, it only takes a small proportion of the cruise industry to sign up for revenues in the multiples of the current mcap.

12/20
#DVRG have some of the best technology in the world to prepare the infrastructure for a ‘post-pandemic world’. It needs to be LIVE, and that is where the #DVRG solution differs from the crowd.

Onto #Labskin - the only commercially available lab-grown replica of human skin. Used by companies such as Estee Lauder and Unilever - two of the multi-national cosmetic companies who partner with #DVRG. A truly sustainable method for cosmetic testing.

14/20
Over the last 12 years, #DVRG have amassed a data library second to none on skin testing. They are now using this to train AI models for suggestive improvements to products, keeping costs down for collaborators.

15/20
Following the #MWG acquisition, #DVRG now have access to lab space in the US and China. Guess where the two largest cosmetic testing industries are... There is far more to this acquisition than just the #MWG technology…the distribution channel to name one.

17/20
#MWG has won awards in China as recently as May 2020 for the ‘Scientific Instrument Excellent New Product’. With the water monitoring industry in China being worth £bns, there is a significant possibility that #DVRG manage to capture a significant market share of this.

18/20
Combining AI into all of their technologies has enabled #DVRG to create recurring revenue streams from constant monitoring. This means that every contract is accretive as it just adds to the base of recurring revenue. This is the huge value add to their business.

19/20
This is a business built on solid fundamentals, with organic revenue growth of over 100% a year. I think #DVRG will surprise a lot of people towards the end of this year and over the course of 2021, but only time will tell.

Over and out.

Happy Sunday.
