Censored Cover: This cover was created to censor the original cover which was NSFW. Ironically, it serves as a great metaphor for how the media distorts and twists Kanye’s vision and message.
Ballerina Cover: This is the other most commonly used alternate cover. It is also commonly associated with Runaway. It represents the beautiful aspect of Kanye’s fame. It shows a ballerina, a symbol of elegance and class.
Power Cover: This cover is associated with the song Power, because it was featured on the Power Picture Disc. It represents Kanye’s weakness and problems even at the height of fame. He is at the top of the world and is still not invincible. This is the dark aspect of success.
Distorted Head Covers: These covers represent the corruption that is caused by money and power. The bear is an especially powerful image, because it takes something from the beginning of Kanye’s career, the Dropout Bear, and twists it into a monster.
