By the way.

I would like to thank MDZS fandom who introduced me to threadfic and everyone who supports mine these past few months.

Honestly, this is an experience I never thought I would enjoy.

I've been writing fics for 15 years, always in fic sites like LJ/FFN/AO3.
While I still enjoy writing in them, I find that it had become increasingly pressuring for me.

It's the word count.

I aways write in word processing programs before posting it to the sites, and the program's UI gives me this sense of obligation to write as much as I can.
I feel anxious whenever my paragraph is less than 3 rows of Ms Word 😂 changing the margin and paper size only helps so much.

Second is the sense of having to finish one chapter before I get to post it, and for me it could mean weeks, because as you see, I only write one scene
at a time. It's frustrating cz before I publish a chapter, I can't feel accomplished, even though I've progressed.

With threadfic I don't face that problem anymore. I'm not worried about my wordcount being less. Most of the time it's the opposite, due to the character limit.
And the best thing is I get to update one post at a time, whenever I feel like it. I don't have to put aside a special time to write anymore (something that I couldn't afford these days). I can just use my free time to tweet.

And all the loves and excitements I get on-live
encourages me like nothing else. It takes a huge load of pressure off me, and writing feels fun again.

Ofc, I'm not here to diss one medium in favor of the other. I love all writing mediums, each has their own advantages & disadvantages which are personal to each writer.
I just want to express my happiness and gratitude that I found this thread medium when I really, REALLY need it.

For now, writing threadfic is the it for me. I'm still working to find tricks to make writing in sites less pressuring for me than it currently is & I'm determined
to get back to it again! đŸ”„đŸ”„ I want to be able to have my fun in ALL mediums.

And again, thank you so much for MDZS community who introduced me to the joy of threadfic! I know I'm late, my experience in twitter isn't that vast, but I'm glad I found you when I did đŸ˜â€ïž
