The "gays are cool except when they are real people" attitude in the BL fandom is really baffling.

Fans who ask people not to share something (like a NC scene of TharnType) or who don't want actors to behave or dress the way they do (like recently on Cooheart's ig) because they're "worried" and they want to "protect" the actors are really just homophobes.

You don't protect gay people by telling us to go/stay in the closet, dumbass. We don't need to change to make you and other narrow-minded people feel comfortable. You can stick your "worry" and "protection" where the sun don't shine.
