Hi all you happy slimmers. Every year we say it: where did the year go? When Christmas rolls around. This year is no different. It seems the year slipped by in a blink of an eye. And this year especially after the whole world was effected by the Covid-19 virus.
It all left us vulnerable and feeling that we should treasure time with family and friends even more. And usually this means to cheat eat. Yes, I know your granny makes the same delicious trifle every year. But you can be more cautious of what you eat.
Ask granny to surprise everyone this year with an alternative dessert. Maybe a more healthy trifle. Or just substitute some of her ingredients to low carb. It will definetly benefit your whole family, and friends that join.
There are healthier dish choices for Christmas its up to you to decide if you are willing to say no to the chocolate and cream. You can have a treat. I have lined up a bunch of healthier choices dishes for the festive season.
And don't think for one moment you failed your diet, if you cheat ate something. Don't let the guilt make you cheat even more. It's never to late to make a decision and eat the healthy options.
I encourage each and every one of you to rather take the healthy choice, not fight with anyone. At least share one gift with a stranger who doesn't have anything. Can even be twenty rand. No pressure, it's the season to give.
God gave his only son for us, So that just by believing and trusting in His resurrection we can be saved. And that is the most ultimate gift humankind received from God for free. So give someone something this year. Life is short and we have to always live in the moment.
Because the present moment is where the magic happens.

Blessings and heaps of delicious healthy festive wishes to you. Whether you celebrate christmas or not.
I included in the link below of course some memorable festive substitute feast yet. A special diet festive meal! Enjoy! Have a beautiful holiday.
