now that our clarification is out, a few words:

the reconciliation attempts, insofar as i saw, came to me. i broke down every time because puppy has displayed a pattern of behavior that reminds me of abuse i have faced.

i was under no obligation to reconcile.

in the wake of puppy's absence, not only have our numbers increased, but we have tightened and modified our internal procedures to keep the entire team running as smoothly and effectively as possible. we've been productive, and made progress.

i have a lot of personal feelings about all this, but as it's now become a fanexus issue, i have an obligation to keep the site's image in mind. being open about being a mod is a double-edged sword; every word i say is related to fanexus, in that way.

i hope i don't need to reiterate that outing our more private mods' identities wasn't okay. we spent hours late into the night last night making sure all of our pictures were appropriately censored. anyone posting images from private chats should know to do the same.
