✨ Women in the Bible, And Things They Did 📜
🌼 — Miriam was a prophetess, who lead Israel with her brothers, Moses and Aaron. (Exodus 15:20, Micah 6:4)
🌹 — Women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting were a group of women dedicated to Yahuah, set apart for serving. According to the verb “tsaba” in Exo. 38:8, their service was similar to that of the Levites.
🌸 — Huldah was also a prophetess, who played an important role in the biggest spiritual revival of Israel. (2 Chron. 34:19-33; 2 Kings 22:8-20; 23:1-25)

*Historically*, it is said she had a school for women in Jerusalem.
🌷 — Sheerah was a powerful and wealthy woman. She built and established the towns of Upper Horon and Lower Horon, and built a town named after her: Uzzen Sheerah. (1 Chron. 7:24)
🍁 — Through sacrifice, Esther became Queen of Persia, risking her life she made a plan to rescue the Jews, and established a religious holiday for their deliverance. (Esther 9:29–31)

🌿 — The daughters of Zelophehad petitioned Moses, before Eleazar the priest, the leaders and the whole assembly, for their legal rights of inheritance, and had their story told on three separate occasions in the Old Testament. (Num. ch. 36; Josh. 17:3; cf. 1 Chron. 7:15)
☘️ — Deborah was a judge and a prophetess, recognized by Israel and Barak, the general of the army (Judges 4:6). Her leadership was not a punishment as some say, Israel prospered under Deborah. (Judg. 5:6-7)
♥️ — Priscilla, Euodia, Syntyche, Phoebe, Mary of Rome, Tryphena, Tryphosa, Chloe, Claudia, Apphia, Nympha, Eunice and Persis.

The women (there’s more) that labored with Paul in ministry.
🍂 — Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna who traveled with Yeshua and supported His ministry from their own resources. (Luke 8:1-3, Matt. 27:55-56)
🍄 — Joanna was the business manager for king Herod Antipas. (Luke 8:3)
🌾 — Mary of Bethany sat at Yeshua’s feet, listening to Him teach, learning in silence. This is something that was not culturally acceptable for a woman to do, but Yeshua said, “Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:38-42)
❣️— Tabitha was “was full of good works and of almsgivings (acts of charity to the poor).” Acts 9:36 explicitly identifies her as a disciple, who was later risen from the dead. (verses 40-41)
✨ — Mary (mother of Yeshua) had faith in the word of Elohim and was willing to put her faith into action and abide by with His will, that she would carry the Savior of the world. (Luke 1:45)
🌟 — Mary Magdalene, it’s really about more of who she was: the first person to see Yeshua alive after His resurrection: a woman is the first witness of the resurrection, a woman is the first to be commissioned to say that “He is risen.” (Mark 16:9)
☀️ — The Hebrew midwives Shiphrah and Puah defied the authority of Pharaoh by disobeying his wicked edict to kill the newborn Hebrew boys. They risked their own safety to protect and save the life of Moses and the other male infants. (Exodus 1:15–21)
🤎 — Jochebed, a mother, who hid Moses for three months from Egyptian authorities, she then placed Moses in a basket and placed the basket in the Nile and entrusted her son into Elohim’s hands. Jochebed was determined in her efforts to keep her baby safe. (Exodus 2:1-10)
