This isn't the stats sheet of an #MUFC team in free fall. It wasn't a great performance, but winning when you're not at your best is an art. I thought the tactics & selection were acceptable. Remember when Utd would only have a couple of attempts at goal under previous managers?
The #MUFC team has to do better, agreed. However, I still think this is best United side we've seen since SAF retired. It's not perfect, nowhere near. It's a team that needs additions. But previous coaches got more things wrong than this current one. Lots of work to do, yes.
I'm not a blue-sky thinker, far from it, and I'm not Ole In, or whatever hashtag is popular this week. If you start losing, you deserve scrutiny. You might lose your job. But winning 1-0 is acceptable everyday of the week. Only at #MUFC is winning a problem for fans. Odd.
