[Thread] Here's my super easy recipe for our childhood Iced Gems! Super simple, cheap and MUCH more satisfying than the store-bought ones.
Homemade Iced Gems 🥰
Ingredients (biscuits):

⚪️ 20 grams castor sugar
⚪️ 40 grams unsalted butter
⚪️ A pinch of salt
⚪️ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⚪️ 100 grams all-purpose flour
⚪️ 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
⚪️ 1 1/2 teaspoons full-cream milk

*Are more milk if you feel the dough is dry
Ingredients (icing):

⚪️ 3 egg whites (from pasturised eggs)
⚪️ 500 aising sugar

*This recipe can be used to top approximately 2x the biscuit recipe.

*If you have concerns for the raw egg whites, alternatively you can make the icing using Royal Icing Sugar instead
