My 4 year old to his dad- what colour are you , White?
Dad - yes.
4yr old to me- mom what colour are you? Black?
Me - yea. Why?
4 yr old- (boy from class) said I am Black and I couldn't play with him.
I am fuming but mostly, I am disappointed.
My question to White parents is...

How are you kids learning about race in junior infant?What are you talking about at the diner table? What are you modelling?

My conversation with race & racism to my 4 year old began today.
I shouldn't have to.

My heart is broken and I am angry that you are failing your kids!
