"Wait, what& #39;s the point of being on social media if you& #39;re not social?" was an old draft I wrote almost a year ago.

But I feel like that& #39;s not the truth anymore. In the past year or so, I& #39;ve made many new friends and interacted with even more amazing people, which was something
I didn& #39;t think would happen. But incrementally, all of you have given me the self-confidence I& #39;ve been looking for, and that has helped me so much - I feel like I can finally be myself rather than closing it all in again.

Most the nervousness I previously had in all kinds of
social situations is gone, I finally feel like I can just talk to people, both in real life and on the internet. Then being part of these communities around racing and simracing (even though I don& #39;t race anymore) has introduced me to so many new people I never knew of.
And because this year has been whatever it has been, many of us have started streaming, which has been an amazing way of just chatting and hanging out with people.

Then you people inspired me to start streaming as well, which has lead to me starting to use my voice a bit more,
rather than always just being a wall of text. Now I get to share my hobbies and interact with people at the same time - a win-win in my opinion https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😄" title="LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit geöffnetem Mund und lĂ€chelnden Augen" aria-label="Emoji: LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit geöffnetem Mund und lĂ€chelnden Augen">

I don& #39;t want to make this thread too long, and you get the idea already. Thank you everyone for being so amazing https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="♄" title="Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Herz">
