Speaking of Sumanth, what strikes me is our frightening hypocrisy of providing *so much* space to facile, uneducated, thoughtless and unremarkable ‘analysts’ like him, while denying it to amazing minds of social justice movements, like those who write on Ambedkarite spaces.

It should just stun us, how much airtime and he gets. How much hot air he is allowed to blow, without having even a fraction of the talent, education or critical thinking as many other writers from disadvantaged communities. I will be forever indebted to those who taught me this.

And that’s one of the reasons I have withdrawn from writing about politics on platforms available to be, and restrict myself to online rants, strictly at a self-reflective and closed-group process. People like me and him should not occupy space because we are not worth it.
