Okay. Now that I've calmed down I'd like to explain myself for people to understand. This might be a long thread but lets begin.
NZAR tweeted that he believes that whitewashing and blackwashing are both okay and I agreed. And people accused me of being racist. Hear me out.

1/?
One side of the coin believes that whitewashing is racist due to it removing the culture or representation from black people. The other believes that artists should be able to have fun and experiment. I don't believe either ideologies, by definition, are racist.

2/?
When I think of the word racist, I believe it is a genuine hatred for another skin for their culture. Racism is evil and stupid. I will never be, or defend, racists or racism. I was trying to defend Nzar because I do not believe he intended to be racist.

3/?
I'm not backing down from thinking that equality is important. We cannot just pull the word racist out of thin air. We cannot just assume the ONLY resolution from anything is racism. Once that card is pulled, defending yourself becomes an anxiety filled disaster.

4/?
I will never fight for something that prefers one race to the other. Racism will always be disgusting behavior. When I was defending nzar's statement, I was meaning to defend equality. If whitewashing was okay and blackwashing wasn't, I'd be just as confused or bothered.

5/?
When I wanted to have genuine conversation, I was ignored. I find that hurtful, as I genuinely wanted to understand, maybe even agree, on why people were angry. When someone is forced to just suffer the blows of false accusations with the impossibility to defend yourself it hurts
^*6/? sorry lost count for a second.

There are layers, upon LAYERS, to a person's beliefs. As Shrek understands (sorry jokes help me cope). If those layers are ignored, and conclusions are to jump to, everyone should be called racist. But that'd be terrible.
7/?
Fight racism. Extinguish it. But never accuse someone of being racist without even willing to understand who they are or find the truth. The narrative that I'm racist has been pushed too far. I never have or never will be racist.
