I like to think Sakusa enjoyed his University team. Think: a bunch of dudes being silly young adults. Late night coffee runs, study cram sessions, drunken parties after exams, bus songs. These are the moments he really grew into himself & became the person he is today.

I just know Sakusa foraged some life long friendships in Uni. There is something magical that happens when you are running off 2 hours of sleep, on the verge of your 3rd meltdown this week, and your friend texting you "wanna get drunk tonight?" I.e. Kuroo

I have a silly hc that (SakuAtsu) Atsumu can't stand Kuroo (for many reasons) but has to tolerate his presence constantly because Kuroo was Sakusa's Uni senpai/roommate turned bff.
