1. CA purposefully excludes the race/culture being appropriated. Said culture get mocked and discriminated against, whilst yt people get called trendy.

3. Whenever a culture gets appropriated and people from said culture give constructive criticism, or try to educate people on why it’s wrong, they get attacked or harassed

4. Cultural appropriation is never about education. It’s about you finding something from another culture cute/cool without taking the time to LEARN about it or it’s significance. Which leads to you offending said culture.

5. The cultures being appropriated tend to be from poc who are still being highly oppressed, denied work and sometimes even physically attacked. CA does nothing to resolve this.

6. You can’t just use something from another culture because you want to. A lot of times it has historical, cultural and sometimes even spiritual significance that was not meant for other races/countries to use.

7. If you want to learn more about another country/culture, you can do it without imitating their customs. At the end of the day, you’re a guest/outsider. Respect them.

8. Imitating another culture without taking the time to acknowledge your privilege over said culture is all kinds of wrong. POC have literally been k*lled for practicing their culture, but here comes yts wanting the right to imitate them without consequence.
