#ActuallyAutistic With this whole Sia debacle, I am not supposed to be saying this yet but I feel it's a good time. I waited until today. I am an autistic actress. I have been cast in a new, upcoming ABC show. I am guest starring in the episode about Autism.

I am playing the female autistic character. They only auditioned autistic actors. They asked for me personally to audition. They went and approached my theatre company of disabled performers. #ActuallyAutistic

At Rehearsals they were very accomodating and understanding. If I had a problem with a line they would immediately rewrite that section with the correct phrasing. #ActuallyAutistic

They didn't know what my ability was. They were willing to teach me how to act. (Lucky for them I am trained). I am about to film in a couple of days. Never once did someone talk over me or ignore me or not take me seriously or argue with me. #ActuallyAutistic
