Most interesting: where India is. https://twitter.com/NinjaEconomics/status/1330361243379642369
I mean, we all know India came up and slapped into Asia from the south, which is how the Himalayas formed. But the origin of its geology, alongside Africa and Australia, is the interesting part.
Also, I can't think of two places more dissimilar today than the East Coast the US and the northwest coast of Africa, but they obviously share a common underlying geography.
I have always found it intuitively difficult to think of the earth's surface in four dimensions, as geologists must do. Different parts not only moving, but rising, falling, and tilting - and even being created or changed - over time.
