''Reasons: Vaults give us the means to more effectively combat fraud and black market credit sales.''

Ok. @Habbo Certainly you don't even know how the black market credit sales actually work.

I'll point the flaws of these changes for #Habbo2020
1. In theory, incorporating vaults will effectively prevent black market CREDIT sales. Now, in reality, you won't be able to prevent black market ACCOUNT, FURNI & CLOTH sales because there will always be the option of utilizing the Marketplace, whether is public or private.
2. You think this will increase the actual sales from your SHOP. Yet, that won't be the case. I'll tell you why.

I have studied the black market in several hotels, mainly in .COM and .ES.

The majority of the people that buys credits and diamond from your SHOP actually take...
...advantage of the offers and diamonds. They will spend a crazy amount of money into those credits and diamonds and later on they proceed to convert those diamonds into credits. I will give you an example:

Black Market Gold Bar price> 2.5 usd
Habbo Gold Bar price> 5 usd (aprox)
Deal of 245c for 11 usd > 2.2 usd per Gold Bar
Deal of 245c brings with it 485 diamonds.

Now lets say to use those 485 diamonds and you buy 97 Diamond Gift boxes and then you sell them for 7c each on Market place now it becomes 679c...
Plus 48c of HC Payday and now it turns out to be 727c. Now, you will have to substract the 240c you invested to buy all 97 diamond gift boxes. You will now have 487 credits, which turns out to be 9.74 Gold Bars for which you paid thru Habbo 11 usd
and that now you can sell for 2.5 each... with a total amount of 24.35 usd and a profit of 13.35 usd.

Adding the Vaults and charging all these fees will prevent people that does this matter in a huge scale to not buy credits from your SHOP and simply leave the game.
Yes. You certainly will prevent these users to sell all those credits in the Black Market and your theory is that if these sellers no longer exist, this will bring ''new'' customers to you, which we all know is not going to happen...
Because when you incorporate this vault, it won't only kill the black market credit sales, but it will also kill the joy of the users that currently play the game. In the business, less customers means less business.
I refuse to play a game that has no people in it. The whole point of your game is ''to meet new friends, role play, and build amazing spaces.'' but we all know that you can't really host a party if you don't have guests...
3. Like I previously said, Black Market Account, Furni and Cloth sales is something you won't be able to stop. My reasons to that are the following>

Once you incorporate a private marketplace I can pretty much sell any furni or cloth for any price.
That means that if I have a Golden Dragon and I want to sell it for real money, all I have to do after I receive the money for it will be that I will place the Golden Dragon for 1c + fees at the private marketplace on which ONLY my customer will be able to see and buy
Once that customer buys the dragon, it will be a done deal. We will only need few credits to actually buy something from the Black Market and for sellers it wont even be necessary to actually have credits to sell their furnis.
4. You simply won't be able to stop Black Market Account sales. Many games have tried that and had 0 results.
5. You have turned your head away from the Black Market for way too long. Your management knows it, you all have had talks about this stuff in your conference calls and meetings but never actually tried to stop it. Why now? 15 years + and you think this is the right moment?
All you can really do to completely block Black Market Credit and Furni sales are either removing trade forever or closing the game... and certainly none of them will give you any profit. And even if you did, account sales will still be a thing.
That's all I got. I hope @Habbo Alyx or Jorge @ESHabbo actually read and discuss this thread. Oh, and by the way... You really have to be ''A-Gamer'' to contribute to good ideas that WILL ACTUALLY WORK for the good.

Love,

David.
