A THREAD - Princess Anne’s most iconic moments.

She is perhaps not the best known member of The Royal Family, but she most certainly is the most iconic.

Like the time she greeted President Trump with a shrug rather than a handshake.

At a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace a few years ago, all of the guests were listening to President Trump’s speech with close detail.

Well, almost everyone. A certain Princess was admiring the tableware instead.

Sticking on the Trump theme, Princess Anne certainly didn’t shy away from the gaggle of world leaders who were having a laugh at the President’s expense.

Princess Anne is as hard as nails.

When her car was stopped by an armed kidnapper, her dress split open during the struggle.

“That was his most dangerous moment. I lost my rag at that stage.”

She also has the best one-liners.

When asked for her reaction following the announcement of Prince William’s engagement to Kate Middleton, her response was short and sweet.

Asked how the Duke of Edinburgh was following his car crash, Princess Anne told journalists: “I have no idea - do you know where I am? Same place as you!”

The journalists didn’t learn their lesson. When asked if she had an update an hour later, Princess Anne said: “Not since I’ve been in there!”

And on the news of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge giving birth to their first child in 2013, Princess Anne said: “It has nothing to do with me.”

Despite her bluntness, Princess Anne always makes an effort though and gets along with everybody.

And the Princess Royal certainly does not require any assistance with carrying her bag for life. What an absurd suggestion!

Most importantly, Princess Anne is the only member of The Roual Family my dog has any time for.
