You direct ppl to Irish orgs that can help *now*. But until the Gardaí asked you to step away, you weren't. Your org. claimed - multiple times - to be 'supporting' and 'offering support'. Signposting is not offering support. https://twitter.com/sapphicg0th/status/1330125776390385664
And there was a tweet talking about setting up a 'dedicated' phone line, but that in the meantime, ppl cld contact organisations. That intimates offering more than merely signposting. Different members of yr group are tweeting contradictory things from their own accounts.
Clearly, as an organisation, you're (at least) slightly fractured. This does not inspire confidence in the org. Yes, you can advocate for a cause w/o being a charity. But what VA was/is doing was/is not merely advocacy. I've been involved in charity / activism / lobbying / since
I started working, full-time, with the CARI Foundation in June of 1992. I am very familiar with the charitable sector and with the area of sexual violence. That none of you is capable of taking responsibility for the damage done to women by your 'leak tweets' speaks volumes.
I know I'm repeating myself when I say that I still stand over everything I have already tweeted on the subject. I do not believe that engaging with ppl who are trying to defend the indefensible is productive, so I will not be engaging with you on this subject again.
