some genshin fans have been interested in my theories so heres a small thread about the tsaritsa!

warning for major genshin spoilers along with some major honkai spoilers as this thread will discuss the tsaritsa's identity. if this is okay, you may proceed

i posted a privatter earlier in another thread about what i believe are the goals for declaring war on the other archons, but i want to discuss here who exactly i believe is tsaritsa based on what we've heard about her so far along with some parallels

again, warning for spoilers

i believe that, since honkai and genshin are on the opposite sides of the same tree, the tsaritsa and the harbingers should mirror otto and schicksal

therefore perhaps the tsaritsa is kallen from honkai impact? the woman otto is trying to revive

so far, we know tsaritsa wants to protect humanity as shes the god of love; however, this changed five hundred years ago after something in celestia happened to trigger her sudden change

i wonder if maybe humanity was threatened? and she began hating celestia for such

we see a similar plot with kallen after otto betrays her and she leaves the prison. while we dont see her act in any cruel way, we do see her accept the fact she must walk alone, even if she becomes an enemy of the world and must walk a "bitter and cold" path

hopefully you can see the similarities between kallen and the tsaritsa. its not much, but i noticed another detail as well: kallen wore a mask on the night of otto's betrayal. its used as a disguise, but its a symbol of her protecting the weak as well

another thing about the mask is that she was given it when she rescued the playwright wearing it from being arrested by the church. the story here takes place in 15th (nearly 16th) century europe, which is when commedia dell'arte started becoming popular

note: the playwright mentioned above is shakespeare in honkai, though there is certainly commedia dell'arte influence in some of his plays. if the tsaritsa really is a counterpart of kallen, i wonder if theyll provide an explanation like that for the commedia theme
