Want tips on how to grow your following from someone who had less than 200 followers 1 year ago?

Follower/Following ratio.

If you follow more people than are following you, you appear as though your time is not valuable.

So many small accts could blow up with this alone.

Second tip

Thank and engage with the people who continually add content. People see this engagement and it gives them something in return for a follow. People are selfish, we all generally are, so why not pay it forward and feed their dopamine like they did yours?

2/
Third

If you Tweet a million tweets a day and no one likes them, delete that crap.

When you get a profile click and they scroll through your timeline, they want to see someone who others like....if no one likes your original tweets, delete them.

3/
This leads to number 4

A tweet will gain its most attention within about 18-20 minutes. This isn’t true for ALL tweets, but if you haven’t gotten engagement from original tweets, it’s not going to happen.

Tweet too often and the algorithm isn’t going to show content.

5.

Want a big account to R/T you?

Quote Tweet them and add content to their tweet. They are more likely to R/T you this way as it shows off their original tweet and yours as well.

Think of it as free advertisement for both of you.

5/
6 is important....your bio.

If they can’t look at your bio and have an idea of what you are about or what your purpose is, you might as well not even tweet.

Along with your bio, make sure your picture is easy to see and stands out from others.

Experiment with it.

Lastly...

Thank the accounts you enjoy and let others know about them.
