Sometimes I think about how the jaing clan respected freedom the way that the lan clan respects thier order/rules, and I'm crying over the consequences of the jaing siblings trying to preserve each others freedoms and locking themselves into roles that ruin them.
How wwx valued his sibling freedom to be free of his pain that he lied every damn day. He lied about the golden core so tha JC would never feel the need to owe him and be free.
He smiled through everything he went through to assure his sister not to worry (tho shes wise to him)
If I think about jc too long I start crying, *taps his shoulder* this boy can fit so much repressed emotion, you wont believe it i
Jyl could give JC a run for his money in her need to mediate every situation while repressing her need to fight everyone who breaths.
the closest we see to her crack is when she supports wwx at phoenix mountain.
Then her need to find peace on the battlefield leads to her death
These kids and thier inability to stop self sacrificing themselves for each other FOR 5 MINUTES...
The parental expectations suffocate these kids and I'm gunna kerm,
Let's not talk about the parents and them being trapped in a loveless marriage... freedom and the jaing family is a cursed concept.
I lied about being incapable of talking about JC, he's so trapped in his family and own expectations that we barely ever see his true self except for small playful moments before he loses everything
I guess it's ?fun to think about how, it's not untill wwx has been disowned and died, that he finally experiences true freedom and can love and be loved freely...was I trying to reach a conclusion with this thread??? Idk
