The end point of healing is coming to a place where the experience makes you a better person. Forgetting the pain is not healing. In fact, healing comes by first acknowledging the pain, then there comes a process of forgiveness of whoever hurt/offended you. https://twitter.com/nkbosompem/status/1330242738491711491
In that process of forgiveness, you learn not to condemn yourself and the other person, you accept what has happened, and you reflect on the mistakes, errors or wrongdoings that came along the way with the aim of learning. During this healing process, it is important not to
restrain yourself from crying/expressing grief and to reach out for comfort from God and people around you who you can trust - especially people who will give you wise counsel. It takes time, but the main thing is that moments of pain are moments that change one's life for good
whatever resolves we make from pain, can dramatically change the direction of our lives. At the end of the day, we must make sure that these resolves are positive.
