before i mute i just wanted to say that i didnt post this to discourage ppl from asking abt this and trying to educ8 themselves but to encourage you to reflect on whether you rly care what poc think or are you just looking for someone to give you a pass

also i would just like to add, i said white people bc theyre one of the most common culprits of this. but i would like to address also that poc are very much guilty of doing this to each others cultures as well, especially nb poc to black ppl and we need to admit that
