HAVE ROADIES (esp. VIP, Merch, Stage Managers) RUN COVID TESTING SITES.

We're all out of work and we all know how to handle and direct a cranky line of humans.

I'm just going to keep yelling about this. There's ZERO signage at this testing site. No one directing lines of humans or cars. No one walking the line to tell people what's up. Any touring crew in America would do this better and the medical staff could then focus on patients

If a touring crew hadn't gotten their shit together this much after two shows, much less 8 months, they would have all been fired.

We're hard workers, used to long hours, ever-changing conditions, stress, thanklessness, & we work well in teams.

Oh, and we're all out of work.

HIRE ROADIES & VENUE STAFFS TO RUN TESTING SITES.

Pay shuttered venues to host testing events or become mobile offices for "the tour managers" of the testing teams & locations.

Theater staff who can get people to their chairs in time for curtains? Hire them to handle lines.

The need & viability of a WPA style program in this country that could address almost complete unemployment in an industry like live music / theater *and* scale up & improve COVID testing seems like an absolute no-brainer to me.
