Canada, remember that the "experts" told you schools wouldn't lead to outbreaks. https://twitter.com/DrZoeHyde/status/1330177159210692610
Also, remember when the public health authorities tell you that they don't know where the virus came from, they are contact tracing 2 m and 15 minutes.

(When anyone in Canada is able to contact trace at all that is.)
Finally 1 in 5 COVID-19 cases in Canada are heslth care workers.

1 in 5.

Note "experts" in Canada are staunchly pro-droplet.

The liability for this will be incredible.
*health care workers (HCW).

Darn typo.
A kids and schools thread.

I don't have time to keep posting on all these topics - too many tails to chase down. Wish I did. Sorry. https://twitter.com/jmcrookston/status/1284457663267581954
In that thread, I think, are a bunch of articles written by Canadians saying that flu is all over schools and shutting schools down is significant.

Yes, flu is a different virus, but we also knew children caught coronaviruses.

Whole episode was magical thinking.
Sound familiar?

This is flu not coronavirus, but why would you risk it to say children don't spread this coronavirus when they do the other coronaviruses?
Schools are the right most bar in each chart in the tweet below.

And they are some of the largest, meaning most transmission cases found there.

So there we go. https://twitter.com/jmcrookston/status/1330319302055096324
