Before I sit down to sketch, I try to think through my head as best I can for the main idea, lighting and color scheme.
When I know exactly what I want, then I start.

6. Working with color. Adding cool shades to the shadows.
7. Color clarification and finalization, adding post filters, drawing characters. So that the work does not seem very dark, I add deep saturated warm and cold colors in the shadows.

3. Drawing the main props one by one without considering lighting.
4. Rendering the main and minor props, floor and wall textures.
