Purpose
- To not live engrossed in extravagance
- Fiscally prudent
- Greater self reliance
- Builds values over superficiality

In Practice:
• Foster self-sufficiency
• Dedicate more time to producing rather than consuming
• Learn a new data skill set for cheap with online certification. I recommend (Power BI, Excel, or Azure)
• Don& #39;t use banks to store money learn investing.

• Find a base skill as a side hobby (farm, hunt, fish, build, knit, paint, etc)
• Forgo luxuries at times & connect with nature
• Understand the more possessions you own the more responsibility you take on
• If you spend big, spend on appreciating assets

Pick a month & go on a fast. Could be any fast; spending, tech, dining out, media consumption.

- Do not be the insufferable penny pincher, most people do not enjoy the company of a tightwad, one who is too afraid to live because of the expense.
- Frugality is about doing more with less, finding pleasure in the simple things.
- Be generous not extravagant.
