My husband ( @mattgreenfield) is in a vaccine trial too and he gets his first shot today.

Both my husband and I enrolled in vaccine trials because we know that science is real and because we want to demonstrate that vaccines are safe and effective

Neither of us know if we’ve gotten the real vaccine or the placebo so we will continue to wear masks and stay away from our parents.

I feel so proud to be part of these trials and I hope that people will see from our experience that vaccines are safe and effective
