Why was Nintendo negligent and disrespected players of Animal Crossing, Pocket Camp with the new 4.0 update? The thread https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇🏻" title="Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten (heller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten (heller Hautton)">
Let it be clear that I& #39;m not questioning the need to require more powerful processors to run games. This is a natural process of technology and necessary. Keep in mind that the POINT IS NOT THIS of this thread!
Day 11/20 the long-awaited "big update" will finally arrive for pocket camp players. Nintendo was already anticipating players since July/September on the requirements required for the upgrade. The requirements were included in pocket camp notices and the game& #39;s official website:
Many players were confident that they would get the update because their smartphones met the minimum requirements. But that was not the case. A considerable portion of players were surprised by the lack of compatibility of their smartphones with update 4.0
Why did this happen? Apparently, in case, for your smartphone to receive the new Pocket Camp update, your smartphone& #39;s OS must be 64bits, information that wasn& #39;t in the game or on the website.
Even many people were wrong to say that Nintendo reported on this requirement, which is NOT true. Nintendo informed us about the 64-bit CPU requirement. People are confusing CPU and processor with OS confusing both as the same thing. Be careful not to make that mistake.
Now we& #39;ll ask the following question: How did a Nintendo Company not mention a PRIMORDIAL requirement for the uptade and let many players get caught off guard? Players with smartphones that met the requirements that Nintendo passed on to us.
Smartphone players with 4GB of RAM, Android 10 and 64Bit CPU did not have their devices compatible. People with updated smartphone, and who have recently purchased the device will not be able to play. This isn& #39;t about having an old and outdated smartphone as some say.
People invested money in the November event and made a profit for Nintendo, and now they won& #39;t be able to play Pocket Camp anymore. Even people who have not invested money still have the right to be outraged.
The 64bit OS requirement should be appearing in the game and on the website as all other requirements mentioned by Nintendo. Why didn& #39;t Nintendo say absolutely anything about this fundamental requirement +
letting you spend money confident that we would get the upgrade and there would be no problems with that?
Nintendo was absolutely disrespectful and negligent with its fans. Those who follow the Pocket Camp community know that a very significant share of players have been affected by this update. All because of a requirement NOT MENTIONED by Nintendo.
Players are raising the hashtag #FreeACPC and #LetUsPlay in protest of Nintendo& #39;s dismay. Many other players are turning on Pocket Camp support to protest as well. (ac-pocketcamp-support@nintendo.co.jp) Everyone can contribute and express their indignation.
For all those who comment: do not be disrespectful, and do not invalidate the feeling of other players. Please also don& #39;t be a dumb person and say "buy another smartphone" https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙄" title="Gesicht mit rollenden Augen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit rollenden Augen"> don& #39;t look at people& #39;s reality from YOUR perspective.Rude comments will be deleted.
